Maintenance Season:  June through October 2013

Scope of Work:
Weekly or as needed weed, mulch and maintain seasonal plantings and perennials around the buildings, entranceways, walkways, sidewalks, benches, monuments, signs, etc. to maintain an aesthetically pleasing appearance of the surrounding grounds.

Main Street is being revitalized with numerous plantings and some areas are still under construction. (A site visit is encouraged before submitting any bid; please contact Town Hall at 267-8300 Ext. 24 to arrange a mutually convenient time)

Insurance:
It shall be the responsibility of the successful bidder, at their sole expense, to obtain and maintain in force during the maintenance season, as listed above, the following insurance:

Commercial or comprehensive liability insurance for all claims of bodily injury, death or property damage, in the amounts of not less than $100,000 per claim and $500,000 per incident;

Worker's Compensation and employer's liability insurance as required by law.

Bids should be received at the Belmont Town Office, 143 Main Street, PO Box 310, Belmont, New Hampshire 03220, no later than 4:00pm on Monday, May 20, 2013.

The Town of Belmont reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or to accept the proposal that the Town deems to be in the best interest of the Town, regardless of lowest bid amount.
