In Memoriam

It is with deep regret and sadness that the Belmont Police Department announces the death of Ofc. Kier T. Slater, 33 of Concord , from a sudden illness.

Ofc. Slater has been with the Belmont Police Department since September of 2005 currently assigned to the Patrol Division and was the Department Community Watch Liaison with the Lakes Region Cooperative.

Ofc. Slater’s sense of humor, tenacity, dedication, commitment to his family, friends and the community that he served will be deeply missed by all.

He leaves his fiancée and two children, Kiersten and Bryan.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Facility on Institute Drive in Concord, New Hampshire.
