Monday thru Thursday 6:30 am to 4:00 pm
Friday 6:30 am to 10:30 am.

Please remove all private property from the Town's right of way, including whiskey barrels at the end of driveways, etc., we will not be responsible for them. Also, please make certain your mailbox is in good repair.

Sand only (no salt) is available at the Public Works Garage, 149 Hurricane Road.


New Hampshire the Beautiful
Public Works now has the trash bags from New Hampshire the Beautiful, Inc. If any civic group or private group would like to take a road in Belmont and clean up the roadside trash the Public Woks Department will pick up the blue bags only, at the side of the road. Bags are limited so we need to use them wisely. Let's make it Belmont the Beautiful!


Waste Oil
The new Public Works Garage on Hurricane Road is equipped with a Reznor 125,000 BTU waste oil heater. The heater is capable of heating almost the entire garage area. It burns waste motor oil that you drain from your automobile during an oil change, you didn't know what to do with that oil before, now you take it for disposal to the Public Works Garage during the hours listed below.
