||We have a State Primary Election coming up on Tuesday September 11, 2018. Voting will take place at Belmont High
School between 7AM and 7PM. If you will be out of town on the day of the election you may request an absentee
ballot. You can mail in a request, please make sure to indicate where you would like the ballot mailed, and if you are
registered as an independent that you include the party’s ballot you wish to vote on (Democrat, Republican or Libertarian).
The request must also include your signature. You can also stop by the Clerk’s office to submit a request.
The offices that we will be voting for in this election are Republican, Democratic and Libertarian Party Candidates for
the offices of: Governor, United States Senate, Representative in Congress, our District’s Executive Councilor, State
Senator, State Representative for Belknap District 6, State Representative for Belknap District 9, County Sheriff, County
Attorney, County Treasurer, Register of Deeds, Register of Probate, County Commissioner, and on the Republican
ballot, the Delegate to the State Republican Convention. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our office or
