Membership
has changed and expanded since initial recruitment. See Town website (www.BelmontNH.org)
for updated list. The Land Use office has
contact points for all members, including email addresses. Ken Knowlton presides
as chairman.
Meetings
have been held evenings of May 30, June 13 and June 28. The second meeting was
called jointly with the conservation commission.
The
sessions have been largely introductory – exchanging personal interests,
possible goals and objectives, available information resources and
familiarization with the Master Plan process.
At
the group’s invitation, Candace Daigle joined one of the meetings for
information, clarification and general scheduling background.
Core
topics have been tentatively identified for individual research gathering and
preliminary discussion/reporting.
Additionally,
various organizational resources
have been identified for possible information and/or insight to establish a
strengthened inventory of community conservation and preservation assets,
challenges and potential. Websites

and
community members.
